Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority (PPRTA) Citizens Advisory Committee

Purpose:

The Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority (PPRTA) is a collaborative effort among six regional governments to improve and maintain roads and support public transit. The members of PPRTA are the cities of Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs, El Paso County, and the towns of Green Mountain Falls and Ramah and Calhan.

Meetings:

The Committee meets the first Wednesday of the month, 1:30 p.m. at the PPACG offices at 14 S. Chestnut St., Colorado Springs, CO.

Members and Length of Terms:

The PPRTA Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) consists of three members from El Paso County, three members from City of Colorado Springs Citizens Transportation Board (CTAB), two members from the City of Manitou Springs, one member from the Town of Green Mountain Falls, one member from the Town of Ramah, and one member from the Town of Calhan. There are six At-Large members appointed by the PPRTA Board of Directors to three-year staggered terms, and four alternate At-Large members appointed by the PPRTA Board of Directors to two-year terms. Terms are limited to two full consecutive terms.
