Due to scheduling conflicts there will be no Board of El Paso County Commissioners meeting on Thursday, May 30 or Tuesday, June 4, 2019.
Commissioners will be attending the United States Air Force Academy graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 30. Then on June 4, they will be meeting with county leaders from around the state, reviewing the impacts of newly adopted state laws, sharing best practices and discussing current challenges during the Colorado Counties Inc. (CCI) summer conference.
The CCI Summer Conference agenda includes presentations and discussions on topics including; opportunity zones, human trafficking, making counties more business friendly, fleet management and helping communities become better places to live for people age 65 and above.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of El Paso County Commissioners after the May 30 and June 4 cancellations will be at 9 a.m. on Thursday June 6, 2019 in the Commissioners Hearing Room at Centennial Hall, 200 South Cascade Ave. in downtown Colorado Springs.
